Üniversiteyi yeni bıraktım ve bundan sonra ne yapacağımı bilmiyorum.
Ben 20 yaşında bir erkeğim ve Bilgisayar Bilimleri derecemi yeni bıraktım çünkü ilgisizdim ve bu beni motive eden bir şey değildi, dereceyi bitirmeye ve o sektörde çalışmaya devam etmek için iş olanaklarının eksikliği de rol oynadı.
Şu anda çalışmak isteyeceğim fırsatları, işleri veya sektörleri değerlendirmeye çalışıyorum ancak neyin bana cazip geldiğine dair hiçbir fikrim yok. Bir meslek seçmeyi ve bu sektör için parlak bir gelecek görmeyi düşündüm ancak bunun beni ilgilendiren bir şey olup olmadığından emin değilim.
Amacım açıkçası finansal istikrar ve gelecekte sahip olmayı düşündüğüm bir aileyi sağlayabilmek ve aynı zamanda tatmin edici bir hayat yaşayabilmek.
Benimle aynı durumda olan ve bundan sonraki adımların neler olması gerektiği veya üniversiteyi bırakma konusundaki deneyimleri ve bunun onları nereye götürdüğü konusunda tavsiyelerde bulunabilecek biri varsa çok makbule geçer. Teşekkür ederim.

Who are the biggest employers in your area? What positions do they need filled?
From your writing style it sounds like you might be in the UK? If so, look for NVQ level college courses in the trade you’re most drawn to. They typically start in September so you have time. Until then, you can research different ones and ideally try getting some hands-on experience through casual work. Dabble with wood in your free time, it’s easier to suss out whether you have an aptitude in this area because a lot of wood can be found for cheap or free, and you can do a few basic projects with minimal tools. It’s also a really useful skill to have regardless of what area you go into.
You could also look into courses or apprenticeships in niche trades. If you’re in an area with dry stone walls, know that dry stone wallers can make a lot of money for their skill.
Alternatively, think about where you might progress with a trade. Experienced carpenter-joiners can retrain as boat builders, for example. Maybe there’s a route for you *through* one of the trades, into a niche area like that that could be interesting.
I dropped out of university twice due to then-undiagnosed ADHD. You’ll encounter a lot of naysayers. But honestly uni isn’t for everyone, and following a path that feels wrong for you is a road into alienation. My dad also left a degree when he was younger and eventually did something different. It happens! It’s good that you’re looking at next steps and have supportive parents. I hope you can find your thing.
Dropping out doesn’t close doors, it just removes one default path. Right now your real task isn’t picking a “perfect career,” it’s testing 2–3 directions quickly and seeing what you can actually tolerate long-term.
Pick up a trade. Once you get your full licence you can make $40 an hour easily with great benefits and pension

Get a job, move out. Having no money and live on instant noodles or whatever you afford on your own for a few months. It will help you find the motivation you need more than living on your parents dime.
Do you live near an airport ?
Start a business. Cut out the middle man. You need money not a piece of paper.
