Low CTR with increasing impressions usually means one of two things – your title and meta aren’t eyecatchy enough to click, or you’re ranking for queries where people get their answer without clicking at all.
That second one should be checked first. If Google is showing a featured snippet, AI overview or shopping result for your target keywords – users are getting what they need without visiting anyone’s site. That’s a CTR problem you can’t fix with better copy.
For a women’s leather bags client :
* Filter GSC by high impressions, low CTR – that shows exactly where the disconnect is
* Title tags should give a reason to click, not just describe the page. “Handcrafted Exotic Leather Bags – Free Shipping” rather just saying “Exotic Leather Bags for Women”
* Meta descriptions should sell the click- mention what makes the product unique or different
* Check if competitors have rich results like reviews or price snippets – those push plain results down visually even when you rank higher
0 click is the first thing to check out. After that it’s a copy and positioning problem.

Your Product Schema is likely broken. If your price, In Stock status, and star ratings aren’t showing in the SERP, you’ve already lost. Use Merchant Center and JSON-LD to force those rich snippets. People don’t click on blind luxury links.
