Welcome to r/SEO. So – SEO is different to other consumption based algorithms like Youtuvbe, YT Shorts, TikTok etc.
Firstly – SEO is rooted in content and authority. authority in SEO is like audience in TikTok. Except that you often need it at the start too
SEO is about relevance. And you can’t really be doing SEO unless you are doing keyword research
And instead of looking at CTR and “average position” – you need to look at position per keyword
Only results in the top 3 will typically get clicks – so pages that are 1st – typically stay there – giving you time to establish “Topical Authority”
To do this – you need to understand authority, link Building, topical authority.
