First thing is to compare your lead/sale counts and value over the same time. For a lot of sites, that lost traffic is because it appears in the AI overviews and it answers the question – but that builds brand familiarity and trust (or just gets rid of the person who was never going to buy what you have anyway).
So if it’s not negatively affecting your bottom line – good riddance. It’s just the worthless traffic that’s going away, anyway.
If the sales/leads are crashing too – then you have to look at a signal quality or clarity problem of some sort.
