The age of the domain is a factor, as are backlinks, brand mentions, on page optimization, user signals from chrome, and other factors. A good EMD is a leg up, but no guarantee.

It’s no big deal because EMDs are a thing of the past. You can have a brand called Wiggly Tiggly that sells tractor equipment and still rank just as fine.
