99.9% of SEOs dont know how to use Reddit for SEO. There are some really great people using it to co-rank (sometimes also called parasitic SEO) – which I love cos I want this sub to rank 1st for everything SEO related =)

It does help if it’s on the right post and looks natural. Especially for GEO.
But it’s very easy to get filtered.
Posting on Reddit will definitely show up on google, however I think it’ll do more harm than good, because no matter what you post on Reddit concerning your business (advertising) you’ll get shat on and that’s what’s going to be on google lol
Depends what your goal is. I don’t think it’ll necessarily increase your authority, but if it’s relative to the communities and topics your posting on, then you will get organic traffic from Reddit
If you have a local subreddit for your city. Search it for recommendations of your trade and post a link to your website along with text using keywords you want to rank for. The link would for example be [city-trade-company name] also get all your friends to like your comment. They do no-follow the link but I personally have gotten jobs from this method.
