Prioritize “SEO” = Get “GEO” outcomes.
Get meaningful results from search engines. Get novelty results from AIs.
The bottom line is this, let’s be realistic here. Google still has 85+ percent market share. Bing has like 2-3 percent. All LLMs combined have less than 2 percent market share.
The LLMs aren’t sending much traffic, so it’s not a good use of your time to spend “optimizing” for sites like ChatGPT and perplexity.
Focus on SEO best practices, which is doing things like digital pr, great content with a good structure, and making sure your site doesn’t have technical SEO issues.
