There are lots of options nowadays, I really like ahrefs, but also really like SE Ranking, it’s worth trying the free trial to see what you think

Ahrefs is still excellent for deep SEO and competitor research, keyword data, backlinks, and site audit are top tier.
That said, tools like SE Ranking and SimilarWeb can add different competitive insights too. Just depends on your goals.
Recently re-dove into testing a bunch. Ahrefs is my goto for years but for what I need is shit unless you get Standard tier – tested lower tiers and burned credits in an hr. For volume research Standard tier is as good as it gets – nothing beats Ahrefs imo. SE Ranking is really solid budget option. Mangools – functional but not fan of the UX and too similar to SE ranking per output, would rather SE Ranking. Moz offers something unique – you can see competitor page optimization scores per keyword search, which is pretty valuable for content planning. $129/mo I think.. it’s a very interesting feature no others have. Writerzen is a good one for keywords and clustering it goes more granular on topic intent and has a unique qualification score based on allintitle keyword stuff and KGR which I’ve found has shown me some nice opps.. def good supplement for content planning. Keyword Insights another good clustering app – different approach to metrics on cluster values.
All depends on goals and scope.
