If you do, then they have no value – pages with traffic automatically get crawled.
You need to give up on thinking you can get authority from Medium – you cannot. Mosy BYO backlinks have no value. You’re better off focusing on getting 1 good link from a partner with a site with actual organic traffic.
You don’t need to index anything. Google will index the page if it has enough authority.
Not all backlinks need to be indexed to have some impact, but indexing helps ensure Google recognizes them faster. Focus on indexing your most valuable links like guest posts and articles, while low-effort ones like classified ads matter less. Quality and relevance still beat quantity here.
