I wouldn’t pause
I always think of a blog as the site’s heartbeat. No other pages are fresh and up-to-date. For example, a product page is pretty much as is. Not a lot of updating. But blogs keep the site new and Google happy. I would maybe back down on your cadence rather than pausing. Or….instead of new blogs (if that’s the issue with topics), update your older ones with better and new content and change the date to the new published date.
