You can hook up some really interesting SEO MCP servers to Claude and it produces some extremely high quality and interesting outputs. I use it to aid in idea generation in my business.
Yes just submit your competitor’s sitemap to these gpts and see the magic. you will get a lot of opportunities for kw research or by submitting your’s you can find out content gap kws too.
I’m interested in what might be possible by connecting an LLM to something like the Ahrefs API but haven’t really fleshed out an approach to it yet.
I’d want whatever AI tool I’m using to have access to actual keyword and search volume data from somewhere though, so wouldn’t really be interested in just using your out-of-the-box GPT for keyword research.

No I won’t use AI for keyword research solely. I did create an AI agent connected to Semrush through API but still refining it. Should be ready in a couple of weeks when it does as good a job as me or better consistently. I will then let it lose. But there are some AI complaints in it. This is for my use only so don’t ask about it.
