I’m currently archiving and uploading various YouTube channels focused on Educational Hacking, Infosec, etc.
~~This is because YouTube now bans: “Instructional hacking and phishing: Showing users how to bypass secure computer systems”.~~

>~~Update: YouTube this afternoon restored videos on the Null Byte channel, including one that resulted in the strike. According to the Google company, there were no specific policy changes yesterday and that the new examples only just happened to coincide with the mistaken removal.~~
>~~The video service does have an exception for videos where the “primary purpose is educational, documentary, scientific, or artistic (EDSA),” but it’s not clear when that policy applies.~~

>Instructional hacking and phishing: Showing users how to bypass secure computer systems or steal user credentials and personal data.
>So I’m afraid this was not simply an error like they are claiming it was.
It doesn’t hurt to continue archiving these videos though. Especially, since they don’t make their policy very clear.
Update: It appears YouTube is [removing videos again…](https://www.reddit.com/r/HowToHack/comments/c9sfq9/so_i_was_going_through_the_9_hour_course_on/)
You can keep an eye on our progress and download on [our airtable here](https://airtable.com/shrfo1SnkHU7WHPbD)
You can help by seeding the channels under “Completed”. (Torrent directories will be available soon)
You can [suggest a YouTube channel to be added to the queue here](https://airtable.com/shrUfebuLw7UUKHqx)
***Note:*** *You will find torrents and direct downloads listed on cards in the “Completed” list. You can click on the cards to expand them and see direct downloads, magnet links, or the attached .torrent file.*
***Before recommending a channel:*** *Please search if a channel is already on our list by using the search bar at the far right of the page. On mobile, it’s the “blocks” tab at the top right. This will allow you to search for channel names in all lists*
If you’d like to be added as an archiver on airtable, send me a PM.
