Apologies if not the right subreddit, but I figure this community of any would have the info to help me. I recently have tried to start collecting as many genuine bowling alley animations I can, and came across an older reddit post which ripped two original bowling alley hard drives, and the sounds can be played in a .wav format, but the animations are in some proprietary .ani or .sld format, with no public software being able to play them. I’ve tried .ani file openers, but none work because they think it’s a windows animated cursor rather than a 3d animation. Apparently AutoCAD or AutoDesk can open .sld files, but I doubt it would recognize what I’m trying to do and fail to play the animation. Any help is massively appreciated, thanks 🙂
