Question about Office 2021 and Visio

Hi all. Apologies if this kind of post isn’t allowed. I’ve checked the megathread and didn’t find an answer.

I currently have Office 2019 Pro Plus and have been trying to upgrade to 2021 Pro Plus.

The problem I have been having is that every version I find of 2021 (torrent or DDL) is indeed 2021 Pro plus, but not only is it the LTSC (?) Version, but also, Visio is missing (might be a bit obscure but I use it for work so it’s a non-negotiable really).

Is it that Visio is no longer part of office? Am I not downloading a full Pro plus? Do I just needed to be patient and wait for office 2021 to be more widespread?

If it makes any difference, I’m authenticating using the KMS VL ALL AIO tool from GitHub.

Thanks in advance for any advice / information

  1. Ok – thanks for the responses everyone. I managed to fudge it somehow as the Office Tool suggested was talking too long to download. I managed to get the .iso files for both office and Visio, installed each one separately, used the activator, then used the UI update tool.

I’m happy enough for now but would prefer not to have the LTSC version ?

  2. I thought that Visio and Project just didn’t have a major update since 2019, but I’m not certain.

  3. As mentioned by u/paulanerspezi you’d need to add Visio to your config file to get it installed (you can use [Office Tool Plus](https://github.com/YerongAI/Office-Tool/releases/) for this instead).

As for the new Fluent UI, sign up up for an account over on MyDigitalLife if you haven’t already and look for the thread `Microsoft Office Visual Refresh`. Download the `Visual UI 365 Edition` file, unzip and run it.

  4. Running a pirated copy for work is probably not a smart thing to do, but whatever.

Visio and Project were never part of any Office Suite, and sharing complete installer packages is for the most part obsolete now and not worth the effort. Typically you’d use ODT with an appropriate [config file](https://config.office.com/deploymentsettings) or some other online installer utility.
