I am trying out my new 14TB Seagate EHD today. CrystalDiskInfo says it’s an Ironwolf Pro, and it’s brand new. It wasn’t being very loud when I was moving a couple things earlier, but after starting a large transfer it’s been giving me [this sound](https://vocaroo.com/1f6qxZNzEFO9). To be clear, it’s on its side on a hard surface, but this sound is clearly audible from where I’m sitting a couple feet away, it’s not me enhancing the audio.
It’s not the type of clicking you get when a drive is trying to start up over and over and failing, but this still seems incredibly loud for normal operation, especially compared to my other three drives (which tbf are different types).
If this isn’t normal, please give me suggestions about how to prevent it. I was told that hard drives work fine in any orientation, so it would be weird if it had to do with its placement.
