Funny story;

I once went on the run, on foot, from the police. They were literally minutes behind every move I made. I would look back and then see a police car’s nose beginning to peak around a building. Then down the side of a building I would go, out of sight.

At the end of day one, I dipped into a warehouse after snaking through a suburb behind houses. I peeked around the corner, and sure enough there was the nose of a cop car coming up the way. inside this warehouse there were a bunch of cars and an old boat with a tarp over the top of it. There was also a staircase going up to a second floor. That’s where I ran first. As soon as I got up there though I noticed it was a giant empty room and got back downstairs as quickly as humanly possible.

I started going behind the cars and towards the boat. I could literally hear the police car pulling up. I went around the far side of the boat, picked up the tarp and climbed into the nose of the boat as quietly as possible. I curled up in the fetal position and held my breath.

Moments later, I heard the officer start to approach the boat talking to an attendant inside the warehouse. I heard the attendant ask the officer “what he do??” And the officer said “he’s wanted on a probation violation.” What he said was not entirely true – it was really deep at the time – but this officer was right next to this boat and I, can not, believe, that he did not lift up that tarp. This was a big boat don’t get me wrong, but it was a very obvious hiding spot.

I didn’t move for 6 hours until it got dark. And then when I finally went to leave this place, I was locked in all night. I had luckily taken my charger with me and the power bank box that I could charge up and take with me on the go. That night I made calls to whoever I could trying to get a ride out of there.

The next morning, as I was getting ready to leave, I was crouched behind a crate as the door opened. Two guys walked in the front door after opening it, and I was sitting there praying “please do not come back here” and then they did.

I popped straight up, put my hands in the air, and told them I didn’t want any problems. They were just as scared as I was. I told them I just wanted to go talk to the owner real fast and let him know what happened.

So one of the guys actually took me to the owner. I told him what had happened and that I was on the run and I didn’t hurt nobody and I just wanted to get out of there. He started to call the police, and I asked him “please sir, I understand you’re going to do this, but please just give me a 2 minute head start.” And to that he said “all right man, go.” And go I went. I left my stinking charger box there though.

There is so much more to the story that I will eventually tell you guys, but I don’t think right now is the time for it. That was like one stop in a 10 stop story of me being on the run. It was three days of non-stop over-the-shoulder looking adrenaline pumping exhaustion. It makes me shake to recall just that section.

I’m going to make a map of the insanity soon though. You guys, this story and the landscape it took place on is something straight out of a movie.

Edit: I just started [r/ScaredToMeth](https://www.reddit.com/r/ScaredToMeth/). I will try to post as often as I can, but I’m building a co-op and have a crowd funding campaign for a childrens book I wrote being prepped. I look forward to making you guys grip your seats though. Also hey Netflix over here.
