I’m pretty sure I enjoyed Home Alone and Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory (1971) more than my kids. The best thing about having kids is having an excuse to watch these movies again and realizing they are even more amazing than I remember.
I don’t know what the hell has gotten into Hollywood but I find most new films pretty limp-wrested. I was looking forward to watching Shang-Chi for ages and ages since I was waiting for it to come out on streaming since I wasn’t going to go to a theatre during Covid. It was soooo disappointing to me. I watched an old Jackie Chan movie, Rumble in the Bronx and it was so much more raw and well put together. The comedy was actually funny, the scene where he gets ganged up on and beaten up with glass bottles made me physically cringe from the pain he was going through. Knowing how Jackie Chan made his movies that guy probably did get cut up in that scene. He’s broken every bone in his body making films. By the end of the film my entire family was cheering for the ridiculous steam boat to run over that villain guy in the golf course. Get ‘em. With Shang-Chi everything seemed fake and contrived and the fight scenes were just not very emotionally moving. Like sure the world wasn’t ending in the Jackie Chan movie but it still got us to all invest emotionally in the characters and storyline a great deal.
Anyway, I digress, Willie Wonka & the chocolate factory was really poignant in how it showed the spoiled and terrible children. The Oompa Loompas singing the fables were the best, pretty politically incorrect now lol people would get mad. I actually took some parenting notes down too. The songs and music were amazing and catchy. I can hear witek humming the melodies in the background now lol.

Daha az görHe heard that his face was removed from the forest in Holawood, but he believed that the last film was prefabricated. The look forward is the age and age of Shang-Chi, as it is waiting for the fall because he traveled to the dome. He is sad. I see the old film jaackie chan – rrick of bronx. They were buried in reality, where they were taken from glass bottles and wounded, leaving me true for the dead. He understands how jackie chan opened his film, which can be turned away. His film is his film. Before the end of the film, the entire family was moved towards this barbarian reparation. The gét e.g., because everything seems to be loaded with Shang-Chi, battlefields are only pregnant. Thus, the world ends in the film jackie chana, still gives a lot of work.
In any way, igress, wine and chocolate plants are true, suggesting that these children are damaged and terrifying. Loompas’s eye is the best and incredible political wola since the rise of gniew. In fact, they mention their parents. Music and Lost are. It can be heard that some witnesses stopped in the context of the present observation.
